KAYO: KBX uses an aluminum die-cast housing and spiral bevel gears. The Japanese lineup has shaft diameters of 10, 15 and 20 mm, with 1:1 and 1:2 speed ratios and L or T shaft arrangements.

KAYO: Use the speed-dependent performance table for the exact model. For example, the KBX-101 group at 1:1 and 50 rpm X-axis speed lists 2.35 N·m allowable X/Y-axis torque. This is a specific operating point; check torque, overhung load and thrust load together for the actual application.
Customer: What does the shaft configuration mean?
KAYO: The L type has a single Y-axis direction and the T type has two Y-axis directions. Compare the shaft drawing, rotation arrows, mounting holes and coupling clearances with your installation. Send a sketch when the required arrangement is unclear.
