MKCTV OIL SIGNAL indicators combine a protective metal cover, transparent tapered tube and flow-control needle valve. They allow approximate visual monitoring and manual adjustment of oil flow in one assembly. The six listed models include TL and locknut TNL forms, with R male inlet and Rc female outlet connections in the model table.

Construction and operating specifications
| Parameter | Specification |
|---|---|
| Fluid | Oil |
| Maximum temperature | 80°C |

| Transparent tube | Acrylic |
| Fittings | C3604 brass |
| Spring | SUS304 |
| Ball | Nylon 66; cylindrical float may be used depending on specification |
| Protective cover | BC gunmetal |
| O-ring | Nitrile rubber, standard version |
| Control valve | BC; TNL versions have a locknut |
| Threaded inlet, model table | R male thread |
| Threaded outlet, model table | Rc female thread |
Approximate flow indication and adjustment
The tapered transparent passage and moving ball or float allow the approximate flow to be assessed against a reference indication. Specify the oil type or viscosity and normal flow when selecting the assembly, because the response depends on the fluid conditions. The catalog maximum-flow figure is not an accuracy specification or an electronic switch setpoint. The integrated needle valve changes the oil delivery manually while the operator observes the indicator. It does not provide automatic closed-loop regulation. TL and TNL remain separate ordering forms; the TNL locknut is used where the chosen valve setting needs to be retained.
Models and dimensions
| Model | Inlet | Outlet | Length (mm) | Width (mm) | Depth (mm) | Maximum flow (L/min) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| MKCTV20-1TL | R1/8 | Rc1/8 | 115 | 30 | 51 | 3 |
| MKCTV20-2TL | R1/4 | Rc1/4 | 115 | 30 | 51 | 3 |
| MKCTV20-3TL | R3/8 | Rc3/8 | 122 | 30 | 51 | 4 |
| MKCTV20-1TNL | R1/8 | Rc1/8 | 115 | 30 | 51 | 3 |
| MKCTV20-2TNL | R1/4 | Rc1/4 | 115 | 30 | 51 | 3 |
| MKCTV20-3TNL | R3/8 | Rc3/8 | 122 | 30 | 51 | 4 |
All dimensions are in millimetres. Match the complete model designation, connection type and installation length. Threaded R male and Rc female connections are distinct from copper-tube outside-diameter connections.
Alternative connection designations
| Published connection-variant example | Connection arrangement |
|---|---|
| MKCTV20-3TOL | R male outlet option; valve connection remains R male |
These are ordering examples for alternative threaded arrangements. Confirm the dimensions and availability for the requested fitting arrangement; the standard TL dimensional row must not be assumed to cover every modified connection.
Installation and operating checks
The spring-supported design allows upward, downward or sideways mounting. This flexibility concerns the mounting orientation; connect the inlet and outlet according to the intended flow path. Allow access to the adjustment valve and sight tube so the drip condition can be observed while the delivery is adjusted. Check the specified temperature and pressure limits against the actual oil circuit and verify material compatibility with the oil. Inspect the transparent tube, fittings and any seals for leakage or damage, and confirm visible oil movement after commissioning. A visual indicator supplies local information; any required automatic shutdown or remote alarm must be specified as part of the system design.

Information to provide when ordering
Specify the complete model or configured series, oil type or viscosity, normal delivery conditions, inlet and outlet connections, and available mounting space. For copper-tube models, state the tube outside diameter. For threaded models, distinguish R male from Rc female connections. Identify the TL or TNL valve form and any required locknut.
